This quintessential English hideaway is set in a perfectly secluded setting and lends itself seamlessly to the luxury weddings held year after year.
Facilities and Capacity
You wander through the oak doorway, picturing that flower arch you’ve had in mind for a few weeks, and you can see that it would work perfectly! A wedding planner leads you through to the Music Room, you look up to see a ceiling of oak beams (repurposed from ancient ships, no less), and you’re not surprised that the house is as charming on the inside as it is on the out.
Light floods through the Cathedral window, highlighting the exact spot where you would say your I do’s. Through the window, you see the endless gardens and an alfresco option for the ceremony with views overlooking the Surrey Hills - romantic would be an understatement.
The manor house and its grounds are exclusively yours for 24 hours, so think of it as your home for the day (and night). It’s licensed to host wedding ceremonies both inside and out, with up to 123 guests, and 170 for an evening reception.
With exclusive use, you might also find time to enjoy the tennis courts and swimming pool.

Accommodation
At the end of an eventful day, it’s good to know your beautiful Bridal Suite, complete with roll-top bath, is just a few short steps away.
Ten further bedrooms await your guests, meaning that your nearest and dearest can join you for breakfast the following morning to share their happy memories of your day.
Naturally, breakfast is included, served the following morning for you and your resident guests.

Websites and brochures are all very well, but we all know that nothing beats meeting in real life to know whether you’ve found the one. We host several weekend Open Houses at each venue each month so that couples who are yet to decide on their wedding venue can visit for a tour, a chat, and a glass of something celebratory.

Amazing day
Beautiful venue with fantastic staff
Our Wedding Day was perfect, their team even organized the weather with a lovely sunny spring day so we could have our ceremony outside!
From the moment we first viewed the venue, with Danielle showing us around, we fell in love with it! And then going forward they continued to make us feel so welcome on each visit. The Harper Wedding Planner is a life-saver and along with the Wedding Planning Wednesdays, with Emy, Ashely & Maddie, and the online messaging system made the planning process was so smooth and stress-free!
On the day itself, every single staff member was fantastic. We felt the whole day ran so effortlessly and that is credit to the Team.
From when I arrived in the morning to the Prep Room to get ready in, to them getting Luke into the Stable Block, so they could move me to the Bridal Suite to finish getting ready, would not have gone so well without their coordination and help!
The Food was so tasty from the tasting platter menu tasting to the plates dishes on the day. Every guest we have spoken with only had good things to say! The venue itself is so beautiful, so many guests loving the character of the house and the grounds!
Bonnie, our doggy, loved the place as well! And it is a great dog-friendly venue!
Special mention to Danielle, Freya, Eloise, Jane and actually everyone at Cain Manor and the wider Harper Staff Team for helping is have an UNFORGETABLE wedding day!
We can’t thank the team enough and very highly recommend to anyone asking!

Mixed bag, but overall my wedding was magical
Another issue was use of their DJ, I understand from a insurance point of view this is easier all round, but yet again at a cost of £695 . The DJ we used was half this price, but again a bit of bureaucracy to jump through with his PAT testing etc. Spot the theme here.
On the day the team were wonderful, the food exquisite and overall my wedding day was everything I needed it to be. Harper were prompt with my refund and are currently helping me to investigate a missing wedding gift. Everyone on the team has been lovely, especially when I had the odd frustration; they came across as very understanding. Maddie on the planning team and Freya and Antoine on the day all deserve a special mention - they were fantastic.
Overall I'd say 4/5. Thank you Harper/Bijou.

Our special day finally arrived!
It was worth the wait, Cain Manor is spectacular and Dean and his team were simply brilliant. We really relaxed and fully enjoyed ourselves, as did our families, knowing everything was completely taken care of. We really felt that the Cain Manor was our home for the day and cannot recommend it highly enough.

2) BBC website - ''Our wedding is cancelled but we still have to pay'
3) BBC One Show "Watchdog - Weddings"
4) Guardian - "Cancelled weddings – refusal to issue refund may be breach of law"
5) Surrey live - "Couple 'heartbroken' after Bijou Weddings cancels big day and asks for 80% cancellation fee"
As a statement of fact, Bijou still have £13,000 of my money for a wedding in May 2020, that they cancelled, and will not refund us.
Adam French, the Senior Consumer rights editor for 'Which', confirmed on ITV news on 26 May 2020 that "as part of this investigation, we have passed on the details of 12 venues - including the Bijou Group - to the regulator (The Competition and Markets Authority" for further investigation'.
Those organisations working in customer services would do well to consider that their reputation is a more valuable long term asset than any bank balance which has been inflated - based on what what some might think to be deliberate contractual ambiguity. Of course, we were presumably all supposed to know from the outset that Bijou could cancel our wedding and charge us 80% of the total cost!

The whole experience from reserving the day to the final was 10/10.
The staff were constantly on hand with any questions or concerns we might have. Their planning system was really helpful.
On the day of our wedding the staff were outstanding!!
All extremely friendly. Happy to be there and help.
A lot of guest at our wedding were over the moon with the food. It was incredible and a lot of comment ‘best food they’ve had at a wedding’ and it really was.
I honestly can’t recommend this venue enough. It had everything we wanted and want to relive the day again!!

Cain Manor - The Perfect Day
Service from Cain Manor was second to none from the moment we put down our deposit to the moment we departed after our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning making for the most perfect pictures.
The venue offer a wedding planner as part of our package. Maddie was an absolute delight to work with and was able to get back to all our queries and ensure we got the most out of our special day. They also have close connection to a selection of incredible suppliers from florists to photographers all also offering exceptional service.
We are absolutely over the moon with all aspects of our wedding day. Many thanks to the Cain Manor Bijou Team.
