Services Offered

While Ck DJ specialises in weddings, he is also happy to perform at corporate events, birthday parties, children's parties, and other milestone occasions. During your consultation, you can tell Chris all about your best-loved tracks, and he'll endeavour to ensure that the timing of announcements and songs is planned to perfection. Though headquartered in Northamptonshire, Ck DJ is willing to serve soon-to-be newlyweds in Bedfordshire, the Midlands, London, the Home Counties, and beyond.

How far in advance should I contact you?

As much notice as possible is appreciated as we tend to get booked up early. It’s always worth giving us a shout as sometimes we have cancellations and can fit you in last minute

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Any music can be requested and will be played as long as it fits with the feel of the event, the musical tastes of the bride and groom and their guests

Experience:

More than 40 weddings a year for the past 5 years. Very experienced DJ and MC able to read the room and respond accordingly. Encyclopaedic knowledge of all musical genres and a thoroughly nice chap 😊

What is the length of time of the act?

Generally a party is between 4 to 5 hours with a distinct ‘beginning, middle and end’ your guests will leave knowing that they’ve had a great night. Early setup & hours after midnight can be arranged

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

Setup time is usually around one hour or less from arrival at your venue. (Depending on position of performance area, access, number of stairs, lifts, locked gates, fences, assault courses etc)

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

How do you charge extra time?

Early setup is a block of hours for a set price. Time later on in the evening and at the ‘end’ of the party is by the hour or half hour if preferred. This can be arranged in advance or on the night

What are the forms of payment?

1. Bacs transfer- deposit and balance due one week before your event. 2. Cash or card on the day. Card payments are subject to a 5% fee. Payments on the fay must take place before the party starts

Amazing DJ

Chris was fantastic from start to finish. We have very wide ranging tastes but Chris kept everyone on the floor. We didn’t think we would be able to find a DJ that didn’t play the usual wedding cheesy music, genres we wanted were very eclectic- afrobeats, Reggaeton, indie, rock, jungle, drum and bass, even metal and punk were all handled amazingly by Chris! He really got the crowd going and at one point was stood on his chair conducting a sing along that got everyone involved! He helped organise the speeches and even played some wedding games which was something we wouldn’t have thought of, it was hilarious and really helped to bring the two halves of our new family together. Chris is a master at what he does, book him you won’t regret it!

Perfection!

Just one word: extraordinary. Extraordinary service, availability, kindness, professionalism and - needless to say - music. Our guests and ourselves enjoyed each song, as well as the awsome light setting. Highly recommended! Thank you Chris and Paul! You made our day really special!

Amazing wedding fantastic DJ

We are so pleased that we chose Chris to DJ at our wedding at the Manor in August Spot-on communication before the day, nothing was too much trouble, He arrived well before he was due to start and was ready to play great background music while we had food and then brought the tempo up as the evening progressed. Everyone said what a great day it was with some real party bangers later on. The lights were also amazing and the dancefloor was full all night.

Absolutely fantastic

Chris is very personable & friendly…communication during the lead up to our wedding was brilliant.

We paid extra to have Chris set up early and it was well worth it, he arrived on time and was very polite and amiable. The set up was smooth and his whole system looked and sounded great! he played a great choice of music while we ate our wedding breakfast, then In the evening he also played some excellent tunes to get the guests up and dancing, a fab evening was had by all! - thank you Chris.

Consumate professional

Chris arrived promptly, was setup within 45 minutes and refused our offers to help! Chris kept music going all night, it was nice to be able to hold a conversation earlier on in the evening, he then slowly ramped things up after we had eaten and things came to an amazing conclusion at the end of the night where I couldn’t believe how many people he had actually managed to get out of their seats in the end, Very skilled! I could have got cheaper but I’m so glad I didn’t I would have absolutely no hesitation using Chris again he was perfect for our night.
