We fell in love with this venue the first time we went to see it. It's such a gorgeous place, and all our guests commented on that too, how beautiful it all was, especially the incredible grounds. The staff were so incredibly helpful, both in the lead up to the event and every second during. Everytime we had any sort of question, no matter how silly, we were always made to feel comfortable in asking and always provided thorough answers. Our wedding coordinator was there with us through the entire wedding planning process, and was so helpful in ensuring all our specific requirements and needs were met for the day, even the really complicated ones. On the wedding day itself, everything ran so perfectly smoothly, and we were guided with absolute precision through every second of the day, so that we didn't feel we had to organise a single bit of it ourselves. The recommended suppliers were so helpful as well, and we would never have known about them if it weren't for the comprehensive and descriptive info packages and booklets provided by the venue. If we had to do it all over again, without a shadow of a doubt we would pick the same place!

Lauren made the whole wedding planning process so much more manageable and accessible, which is much appreciated when on a 6 month time scale! They never questioned why I needed to know certain pieces of information, they just absolutely delivered with speed every time!

On our wedding tour, Lauren was so lovely and friendly and the complementary drinks were a big hit too. I think this is probably the reason my Mum wanted to come with us every time! Lauren provided recommended, high quality suppliers too. We literally couldn’t have asked anything more from Coral and Blue who went above and beyond, even dressing parts of the room that were not provided by them too!

All the staff at Fanhams Hall were so friendly, it reallt felt like everyone cared so much about us! We weren’t just ‘another wedding’. It was OUR wedding!! Rachel, our incredible function manager, said there’s only 2 dates in August without a wedding, but we honestly wouldn’t have known because everyone really goes above and beyond at ALL times. When we returned from our church ceremony as husband and wife, we were greeted with our chosen welcome drinks and canapés - we honestly felt like we were living a Hollywood dream.

Even the reception staff were incredible! We’ve left a couple of things in the rooms too and it’s been a very efficient process to get them back.

My husband and I (eeek, husband!) said it was a shame we wouldn’t see Lauren on the wedding day as she’d been such a huge part of our wedding planning journey, but it was absolutely lovely for her to take time out of her day to come and say hi! Lauren has been a dream and we’ll definitely be booking an anniversary stay for next year!

We’ve had SO many complements about Fanhams Hall as a venue too. Everyone thought it was a dreamy wedding venue, the best they’ve ever been to! When the guests entered the library after the church, they stayed there being greeted by the slide show of photos, live music, love letters, drinks…they weren’t able to go outside as it was raining slightly and chill. This wasn’t what we’d planned, but this worked out PERFECTLY as guests were able to sign the guest book and look at the displays too! During the speeches the sun started shining through and during the room turnaround everyone was outside and my dress was glistening in the sunshine. IT WAS HONESTLY PERFECT! Some people just stayed outside until midnight!!! The beer pong was so much fun too. I could honestly write the longest comment about how perfect everything was!

Fanhams Hall is a great wedding venue with really big grounds that look amazing, including a rose garden and Japanese garden. We really loved the Long Gallery. It’s so spacious and beautiful, a perfect place for the wedding ceremony.
The team at Fanhams were really helpful during our wedding planning, given the amount of questions we asked them. The food there is also really good. We had the menu tasting a few months prior and were able to customise some of the dishes to suit us. They were very helpful throughout the wedding day itself, guiding our guests around and helping us with the schedule. We highly reccomend Fanhams Hall and are looking forward to visiting again on our anniversary.

We knew once we started discussing venue's that we wanted to get married at Fanhams Hall. It is very local to us and is dog friendly. We booked Fanham's about 10 months before our big day and the wedding co-ordinators kept in touch every month or so. We were then assigned Lauren who was amazing and really made sure that our day was exactly how we wanted it. If something was not quite right this was changed so it was perfect. The food and drink was also incredible and we had so many compliments on this. Rachel was also amazing keeping the day running on the day. We made the best discussion getting married here.

This venue was amazing, the old style Manor House and the beautiful gardens and grounds were the ones that sold it for us.

The garden came to life on our wedding day and the colours looked amazing and was also an excellent back drop for photos.

The teams working on the wedding were helpful and helped to make the day run smoothly, and always checked in with the Bride and Groom to make sure we were fed and to make sure we were having a great day!

We could not recommend Fanhams Hall enough. They were so professional in the lead up to our wedding and could not have done more for us to make our day special. We had specialist access requirements for a family member and Fanhams could not have done more to make him comfortable on the day and in the lead up to our wedding, which took the stress out of wedding planning massively. They really took their time to make our day tailored to us and so many of our guests fed back how amazing the venue was.

From start to finish the whole team we’re so supportive, responsive and accommodating as well as being so friendly and helpful with everything.

We had originally planned to get married a another venue, however that fell through with only one month to go before the wedding. However, it turned out to be a very fortuitous disaster because by some miracle Fanhams Hall had the same date available, and from then on everything was smooth sailing. It ended with the most wonderful wedding day, without a doubt better than the day we had originally planned. Our contact Symphonie was excellent, very friendly and efficient, organising all the details of our day, handling the transfer of guests rooms from the old venue and generally making the whole process of organising a wedding in a month seem effortless.
The venue itself is lovely, the grounds are stunning, a photographer's dream, and the hotel itself is comfortable and welcoming. We particularly wanted a venue with plenty of rooms for our guests to stay over and Fanhams offered that. We also wanted some outdoor space and the gardens more than provide this.
The wedding day was brilliant, we had the best day and our guests all seemed to have a fantastic time too. The reception staff, waiting staff and bar staff were all efficient, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, our function manager on the day made sure everything ran smoothly and we always knew where we needed to be and what was happening next. The Great Hall, where most of the wedding was held, looked beautiful.

As soon as we saw Fanhams Hall, we knew it was the venue for us! The jacobean style is so beautiful and we loved that all of our guests could come and stay in the hotel as well.

We thought we wouldn't find a venue that was well located for our guests (Suffolk, the Midlands and London) but being so close to Ware trains from London were a breeze and there is plenty of rooms and parking.

The organisation and planning support from the FH team is amazing and we used a lot of their recommended suppliers which made planning and the running of the day even easier. There was a last minute emergency which meant our wedding day coordinator was unable to be there for our day but the venue have everything so well tracked and planned that Rachel stepped up to the task and there were absolutely no issues, Symphonie was also a superstar in the run up and on the day of. I can't really comment on much more of what they did during the day because we were left to enjoy our day whilst the FH team took care of absolutely everything else - exactly what you want on your wedding day.

The food was fantastic, we had so many compliments on the flavour and the presentation. I am gluten free and some of our immediate family are vegan and there was no issue amending the menu to suit everyone's requirements. We left the vegan/vegetarian option as the Chef's choice and had so much good feedback on the cauliflower steak main.

Not one thing I could think of to improve, we loved every moment of visiting, planning and the day of our wedding and we couldn't have done it without the Fanhams team 💙

Where do I even begin? There are not enough words to thank everyone enough at Fanhams for ensuring our wedding day was perfect in every way. The staff were absolutely incredible and our day ran so smoothly. All of our guests couldn't stop complimenting the venue, from the beautiful grounds to the friendly staff and the delicious food. Everyone we spoke to told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

From the moment we first viewed Fanhams Hall, we fell in love with it. We absolutely loved the stunning great hall and long gallery. Symphonie first showed us around and from that moment she was there for us all the way through the planning process and up until the day before the wedding, she was amazing. Symphonie was so lovely and supportive, always on hand to answer any questions and offer advice. An absolute credit to Fanhams wedding team!

The week before the wedding, we met Rachel, our function manager for the day. She went through every little detail with us and ensured that everything was in order for our big day and that we had no worries or concerns. We just want to say the biggest thank you to Rachel, she worked so hard all day to ensure our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be and she just made our day run so smoothly. Fanhams are so lucky to have Rachel, she's an absolute star! So many people have commented on how amazing she was, she really couldn't do enough for us throughout the whole day and ensured that everyone was happy and having the best time.
Also, a big shout out to Florin who was also amazing on our day, we first met Florin at our menu tasting and he was so friendly. He worked alongside Rachel on our special day to ensure that everyone was where they should be and doing what they should be doing! You were both just incredible.

We attended a wedding menu tasting in the months leading up to the wedding where we got to sample some of the delicious canapes and dishes, we then selected our choices for the wedding day. The food on our day did not disappoint and everybody absolutely loved it, from the selection of canapes to the wedding breakfast meal. The staff were very attentive and served the food quickly. Fanhams were very accommodating for our guests with dietary requirements, and these guests were extremely pleased with how well they were catered for.
The evening 'fish and chip shop' buffet was also delicious (so we've been told, neither of us actually had any as we were too busy partying)!

On the night of our wedding we stayed in the Chestnut suite, the most beautiful room with absolutely stunning views. It was so spacious with lots of facilities, the bed was soo comfy and the bathroom was amazing. My only negative comment is that we didn't get to stay in there long enough to make the most of it!

There is so much more we could say about this incredible venue and their staff, but we would honestly be here all day. So, we would just like to say thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make our day as perfect as it was. We really did have the best day of our lives, it was everything we had dreamed of and more!

My daughter had her wedding reception in the Great Hall at Fanhams Hall Hotel at the end of July 2021. Before the event Lauren was really helpful and always available to answer any questions. All our guests keep saying how smoothly the wedding went which was largely due to our function manager, Olly, who was exceptional. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the photos look marvellous. The chef, Paul, came up with very good menu tweaks to deal with all our various food allergies and the food on the day was fantastic. Olly managed seamless delivery of any special dietary options and special drinks to the right people which was very impressive and was appreciated by all concerned. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful to both ourselves and our various suppliers throughout. Our daughter had a marvellous day, thank you to everyone at Fanhams!

We've loved every minute of it to thank you so so much all the staff were unbelievable especially James.
