We got married at the beginning of September and chose Froyle Park as our wedding venue as it’s a beautiful location and it can comfortably hold larger sized weddings. From the initial enquiries right up to the day itself we found the team to be helpful, patient and responsive to our (many!) emails, with clear explanations about what was required from us at each stage. The venue itself was perfect for an outdoor ceremony (though it could just as easily have been held indoors). We also appreciated its exclusive nature, and the different rooms that allowed for our guests to spread out (there was even a children’s playroom). Also as a dry hire venue it allowed us to create a wedding that was unique to us, but they also provided some great vendor suggestions which helped us with our planning.

The day itself ran smoothly and the on-site overnight accommodation was really comfortable. All our guests loved the venue and enjoyed the grounds. The only hiccups during the day were:
1) the sound limiter tripped out the music once at the start of the evening party, but this was not an issue throughout the rest of the night as our DJ was able to make things work, and so we still had an amazing party without feeling the musical quality was compromised. Tip: once the dance floor was underway we pointed the speakers more directly towards the centre of the ballroom where the dance floor was situated to maximise their effectiveness.
2) as there was a kitchen for the catering, we assumed drinking water was easily accessible if not going with their in-house caterer/drinks supplier during the day. However, as a dry hire venue this was not the case, and it resulted in the coordination team going to buy bottled water for the guests. Tip: make sure you have it arranged separately!

Having read through other reviews, I can see that it hasn’t been smooth sailing for everyone and it is true that there are a number of restrictions in place in terms of what you can and can’t do. But we felt that these were pretty much made clear from the outset when reading the contract through (e.g. we were aware of the sound limiter and were able to discuss this with the DJ from the start, so although it kicked in at the start of the music we had a DJ who was aware and comfortable with using this type of setup and could still deliver an awesome night).

Aside from the small hiccups, overall we had a wonderful day holding our wedding at Froyle Park and from our experience as long as you read the contract properly to understand the way things run you shouldn’t really have any unpleasant surprises on the day. We would fully recommend it as a venue!

We had an absolutely lovely experience at Froyle Park for my daughter's wedding!! The venue is beautiful and the staff are amazinging helpful in every way. We would highly recommend Froyle Park to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding in the country.

We had an amazing day on Friday the 6th of April 2018. so thanks to you and all the staff who made it happen to smoothly! Everyone said what a fantastic venue we had and For us it was excellent that everything was organised nicely so that we could relax and enjoy the day. We would greatly appreciate it if you would pass on our thanks to all members of staff who helped make our wedding so enjoyable. You all contributed to making the event relaxing and yet excellently run - nothing seemed to be too much trouble and staff were so approachable and professional. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, the indoors facilities were much participated in and there were so many fantastic backdrops for photos that we will always treasure.

We would also like to say thank you for everything you guys did this weekend to make our day on Sunday the best it could possibly be! We had the most amazing day and will remember it for ever!

I just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to you and all your staff at Froyle Park. You were all were so helpful throughout the whole time, since the day we booked this wedding, and the whole day itself was fabulous. Whenever I asked for anything it seemed that nothing was too much trouble for any of you. You are all a credit to the lovely venue there at Froyle, and the correct way these events should be organised and run. I would have no hesitation in recommending Froyle Park to anyone ( I have even already helped you to get a booking for one of my sisters friend ‘s who were looking for a venue, and have booked Froyle Park for this December). We also had so many compliments on the day, from family and friends about the building/ gardens /bedrooms /venue and Staff.

Lastly:- I had a lot of family saying how lovely the bedrooms were and that the mattress’s on the beds were the best they have ever slept in!! Would you be so kind as to e-mail me back the details of what type of mattress were in the rooms, and the make (as I think we all want one now)

Recently got married at Froyle Park. The venue was great and most of the staff were extremely helpful. Particularly a young lady called Georgina. I would recommend this venue to any bride. They also have great list of recommended suppliers such as Favours, a Lavender Hill and Forever cakes.
