Each Loch Ken Wedding is unique, and our small team will work with you to create a personalised wedding weekend that your guests will be talking about for years to come. We only host a handful of weddings each year, each one is special, and we don’t believe in set packages – this is your day, the way you want it.

Stunning Grounds & Accommodation

We have 30 acres of grounds overlooking Loch Ken, with some of the most stunning views you will find in Scotland. For your wedding weekend, this is closed off to the public for your exclusive use. Our 89-bed spaces are nestled around the grounds and include luxury off-grid cabins, quirky glamping options and en-suite lodge rooms. The Otter Eco-Bothy is the perfect luxury honeymoon suite and is a highlight for many couples. With its log-fired hot tub overlooking the water, there’s no better way to finish your big day than by soaking under the vivid stars of the Galloway Dark Sky Park.

Fab Indoor Spaces

As part of your wedding package, we help you decorate our 120-seat glass-fronted dining room to your individual tastes. Imagine enjoying a celebratory feast with your loved ones while looking out over the stunning vista of Loch Ken. Adjacent to the dining room is our much-loved Boat Shed. It makes the perfect dance floor for the evening and a beautiful space during the day for your guests to enjoy canapés after your ceremony.

For a truly memorable weekend, you can take advantage of the Galloway Activity Centre’s 30 years of experience delivering award-winning activities. As personalised as the rest of your wedding, we can arrange anything from Highland Games to a Bride vs Groom Dragon Boat race to an exciting selection of nighttime activities. We’ve yet to have someone say their vows on the 30-foot giant swing, so you could be the first!
