The hotel is situated a 10-minute drive from Guildford town centre and 25 miles from Central London. It's located approximately 30 minutes from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Outdoor ceremonies at Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa are hosted at The Pavilion, a breathtakingly natural and romantic setting for exchanging your vows. Indoor ceremonies are held in the Bloomsbury Suite, a bright and airy hall with high ceilings, views of the grounds and an elegant feel. Both areas can seat 120 guests for your Ceremony.
Your Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception will take place in the Lytton Strachey Suite. This versatile space features its own fully-stocked bar and direct access to a private furnished terrace. The room is finished with neutral colours and soft lighting, meaning it can easily adapt to most colour schemes. The Lytton Strachey Suite can seat 120 guests for your seated Wedding Breakfast and 200 guests for your Evening Reception, with a combination of seated and standing.

Beautiful venue, lovely food and great service. We had an amazing day. I would highly recommend guilford manor as a wedding venue. The staff were so helpful. Everyone commented on what a wonderful day it was. Tessa the wedding coordinator was so helpful and quickly responded to any queries I had, and the day went off without a hitch. Wouldn't have chosen anywhere else. Fantastic from start to finish.

Very professional and efficient. The wedding planner (Tessa Stewart) ran the day perfectly couldn’t have been more helpful, and the chefs provided amazing food.
If you are considering having your wedding in a hotel, we would highly recommend this venue

The perfect wedding day
Cannot recommend this venue enough for our wedding! The staff were amazing and made sure we didn't need to worry about anything. Special shout out to Tessa in particular who was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions in the lead up and was on hand during the day to make sure the day went off without a hitch. Absolutely beautiful venue and spa with the added extra of a peacock who made an appearance later in the day!

Perfect setting for a wedding
We held our wedding at Guildford Manor at the start of June 2023. It was a brilliant day & our guests all had a fantastic time celebrating with us. We looked at a lot of other venues in the area before viewing Guildford Manor but immediately knew Guildford Manor was perfect for us once we visited and saw the grounds & the Lytton Suite where we held our wedding breakfast and evening reception. The room is gorgeous and the package included lots of decorations already set up in the room, such as the lovely chairs, dining set, lovely glassware & blossom trees etc. The Bloomsbury Suite where we held our ceremony is also really pretty. The venue looks really fab in our wedding pictures. The back field area and gardens are wonderful and a perfect space for wedding guests to relax in & ideal for taking lots of pictures. Tessa our wedding manager was extremely professional, friendly & easy to communicate with, she was great at giving advice on scheduling for the day but was also flexible and listened well to what we wanted. Staff at the hotel were pleasant & were great at keeping every thing running smoothly & on time on the big day. Food was very good. The spa at the hotel is also really nice & relaxing if staying before or after the wedding. We had a gorgeous wedding day in a wonderful setting!

A Fabulous Day
It was an amazing day. Can’t fault the staff and team on the day, it went really smoothly.
Unfortunately we were going to have the ceremony outside, but at the crucial point it rained, so it was hurriedly moved inside, but it all went off without a hitch.
The food was lovely, the grounds, the set up, just was all as I had hoped it would be.
I would love to do it all over again, so I can hold on to the memories better, as it all went past so fast.

The perfect wedding day!
We held our wedding reception here in April 2022. The day was absolutely perfect and the staff did everything they could to make it run smoothly. They were friendly, helpful and the food and facilities were excellent. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel and made use of the spa and said how much they'd enjoyed it. It is a great reception venue as there are several different spaces to use for drinks, wedding breakfast and dancing, and it all flows well. The patio area is lovely too. Overall, it was an amazing day and we are very grateful to Douglas, Becky and all the team!

The time of our lives!
Guildford Manor was our perfect venue, as soon as we walked into the ceremony room we knew it was where we had to get married. We had the most amazing wedding day and all of our guests loved the venue. The ceremony room is beautiful, and the reception room is just so perfect for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. The food was so lovely and all delivered with perfect timing and the buffet food in the evening was also incredible! Make sure someone gets you a plate as we didn't manage to get much of it as we were too busy enjoying ourselves. I would also highly recommend popping over to Newlands Corner with your photographer if you have 20 minutes to have a moment for just the two of you. Thank you to everyone at Guildford Manor who made our day so special, we can't wait to revisit for our 1st anniversary.

Our wedding
We got married on the 20th August 2021. From the day we visited the venue to the morning after our wedding everything was perfect. The communication from Douglas (Event manager) was unbelievable. He answered any questions we had and always put our mind at ease. He managed to personalise everything the way we wanted it to be!
On the day everything ran so smoothly. Douglas and all of the staff handled everything so well, if there was a problem they came up with a solution straight away it didn’t once affect our special day. I would recommend anyone to go and visit the hotel! They have had an amazing refurbishment and we were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in the pavilion and the grounds were just beautiful!
I can’t thank everyone at the hotel enough for everything they done for me and my husband. It was truly unbelievable

We said 'I Do' so should you.
Our wedding day was not as we had planned due to Covid but Douglas and his team at Guildford Manor did all they could to make our day special.
The ceremony room was set up perfectly and the room was swiftly changed around so that we could have a amazing afternoon tea. It was a happy, stress free day thanks to the hard work of the team at Guildford Manor.
The grounds are perfect for some amazing photos to be taken.
We are now looking forward to having the full reception later in the year.
Once again Thank you to Douglas and the team at Guildford Manor for making our day so memorable.

Wedding at Guildford Manor Hotel September 2020
We had our wedding during Covid-19, end of September 2020, at Guildford Manor Hotel. Due to the restrictions we decided to postpone our large wedding for 2 years and instead have a small ceremony on our original date. The hotel was very accommodating about this and we are looking forward to working with them again to organise our celebrations in 2022.
The hotel had undergone recent renovations when we had viewed and booked our wedding date back in November 2019. The ceremony room was nicely set up and decorated. Due to reduced numbers we had a family meal in the restaurant rather than use the function room. The staff at Guildford Manor Hotel made changes very quickly to help with the flow of the day, as most of our guests were staying at the hotel that evening, they changed the ceremony room into a function room for a meal and drinks in the evening to keep us private from other hotel guests. We had multiple meals at the hotel for breakfast, our wedding meal and dinner over the course of our 3 night stay and the food was always delicious.
The hotel rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable with some lovely views. It was a lovely touch to have chocolates and small bottle of prosecco in the wedding suite. Only negative was the jacuzzi bath (jets for jacuzzi) didn’t work but this was going to be investigated after our stay. The hotel was quiet and highlighted to people if they were not following Covid guidelines such as wearing a mask around the hotel. The pool and spa area (only the sauna and steam room closed due to social distancing) was clean and had restrictions on numbers in the area but did not feel anyone was missing out on using the area during their stay.
We would recommend Guildford Manor Hotel for anyone wanting to stay for vacation or wedding.

The best day of our lives!
We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Tessa and her team were brilliant from start to finish throughout the planning and on the big day. The venue is stunning, beautiful grounds which are really well taken care of, lovely food and all the staff were brilliant. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Perfect wedding venue
We held our civil ceremony and wedding reception here in May 2033. The day was absolutely perfect and the staff did everything they could to make it run smoothly. They were friendly and helpful and facilities were excellent. As soon as we first visited the venue, we knew the outdoor pavilion was where we wanted to get married and luckily the sun came out for us. We were also able to use all the spaces, E.g. terrace for drinks reception and grounds for garden games. It was a beautiful day!

Guildford Manor Hotel and Spa
Beautiful setting for wedding photographs and modern exterior will surprise you with its classical elegant interior with modern up to date additions. Dressed to impress ceremony and reception rooms with the spa, gym, heated indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi enjoyable even in colder months. Our wedding was in middle of October and it was a highlight enjoying the outside pool and jacuzzi. Everyone commented on the delicious food and the smooth seamless running of our wedding weekend with everyone enjoying our wedding weekend with the venue wedding planner making sure the whole experience was taken care of, leaving us relaxed and able to enjoy the whole experience for us the wedding couple and all our guests. Their venue wedding fair also gave us a chance to see the venue decorated and meet local suppliers. In addition we must also recommend our wedding singer mickeyjc.co.uk who everyone loved and our cake supplier jo Harper cakes who had made sugar paste flowers for our wedding cake that matched my bouquet perfectly. We have actually had two weddings at Guildford Manor Hotel over the last two years. We had a small intimate ceremony and family meal in 2020 during COVID, and then more recently (Oct 2022) a large wedding celebration with renewal ceremony. Both times the wedding has been perfect and we have the best memories. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, and there is Newland Corner a short drive away to get some amazing sunset photo's at the end of the day.
Doug and Allie (wedding coordinators) were always helpful and accommodating to any requests we had. Even last minute hotel room bookings requiring accessible rooms.
The food was delicious and we enjoyed their wine selection. We were lucky enough to enjoy the bridal suite for the whole weekend both times.

Amazing venue and team
We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to Allie and and the team for our perfect wedding day. Everyone said to us what a perfect day it was, how smooth it was and how the venue was stunning and we couldn’t agree more. Everyone also loved the food – the mini sausages that I was resisting on for the canapes had rave reviews so glad I conceded – so please give our thank you to the kitchen staff as well.
Allie, our wedding coordinator on the day, was so amazing -dealing with all our queries and ensuring everything was perfect for the day, even with some late changes. The set up was amazing and just as I imagined – honestly don’t know what we would have done without Allie! Highly recommend the team and Guildford Manor.
Thanks again Allie so much & the team for starting our married life off on the best possible foot
