We were so so glad we went with Mesa Catering. They were amazingly organised and incredible with dietary requirements. The food itself was some of the best I have ever eaten! So many guests agreed. No one was left hungry and the food itself was so beautifully presented. (Photo is an example of one of our evening food plates!)

Katie and her team served us a delicious wedding breakfast (Pie & Mash main course) during our Bristol-based wedding in summer 2021. We originally booked our wedding for 2020, but had to rearrange due to the pandemic; Mesa's communications were excellent, and they kept us up-to-date with various changes, and they were flexible to our constantly-changing requirements. The serving team on-the-day were incredibly attentive and surpassed all of our expectations, allowing us to enjoy the day without any stress. Highly recommended :)

Katie and her team provided an outstanding service from beginning to end at our wedding in the woods. All our guests, children and adults alike, without exception, loved the food and everyone was left truly satiated. Not only quality in taste but quality in service too. The team were so organised, knowledgeable, helpful and fun, and great to have around on our special day. Very good value for money and we couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We had always dreamt of a festival wedding where Pies were certainly top of the list as our menu to accompany our relaxed day. There was no question too big or too small for the team to answer and they accommodated all of our guests needs perfectly. On the day the service was smooth and enjoyable, the team were helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. The team provided us with canapes, a 2-course dinner and service of our reception and table drinks.

We can't recommend Pieminister enough as a wedding caterer. Katie, Hannah and the team took so much stress out of the day for us both in the early planning stages and on the day of the wedding itself. The event staff were incredibly self-sufficient and ensured everyone's needs were met all day while allowing people to chat. They did lots of extra jobs for us not related to the catering package that we had asked for - offering to cut up our wedding cake, serve reception drinks and break down tables for dancing. We had so many compliments on the delicious food and how nice it was to feel full at a wedding!

We got married on Saturday 13th September 2014 and we had a Pieminister Wedding! Our reception was in a marquee in a private garden and Pieminister took care of the hospitality; they helped to make our wedding day amazing, incredible, spectacular and perfect! We wanted a relaxed vibe during our reception and having Pieminister let us achieve that.

We cannot thank Pieminister enough as all our guests had fabulous food. We had a selection of gorgeous canapés when our guests arrived from the church to the reception, these were perfect nibbles whilst the photos were being taken. We chose three pies for the main; Chicken of Aragon Pie, Matador Pie and Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Pie, and all specialist dietary requirements were catered for, and we had quite a few. The pies looked so inviting and delicious, and of course, tasted incredible. The best thing about having pie and mash at a wedding is that it really fills you up, and our guests agreed. The dessert was also gorgeous, lots of yummy offerings. Pieminister organised a magnificent wedding cheese cake for us, and it perfectly complemented the evening buffet.

The food really speaks for itself, but we also want to say how impressed we were with the overall organisation and support that we had.

Katie led the Pieminister Team for our wedding and she was amazing; she couldn’t do enough for us leading up to the wedding day and on the day itself.

Wow! Katie – we don’t really know where to start but you truly did make our dreams come true, and simply made our wedding day perfect!! From the first planning meeting to the end of the night you and your amazing team were superstars. You filled us with confidence from the start with your obvious experience and genuine excitement for our wedding. We simply didn’t worry about anything on the day, as it was clear to see the whole team had everything in hand and worked fantastically together in a relaxed but organised way. The pies were yummy (as always) and people are still going on about the sausage rolls now. The way you catered for everyone’s needs was remarkable, still serving tasty different dishes for those that sadly can’t eat pastry. It was definitely Good Times with Pies!

Stephen and I have for a long time been Pieminister fans and before we were even engaged we knew that we wanted Pieminister to cater for us when we one day got married. We love their pies, always have a stock of them in the freezer and wanted to incorporate this personal touch into the most special day of our lives so far. Plus we wanted to provide a delicious, hearty and slightly different Wedding Breakfast for our guests.

This was the starting point of our wedding planning! The next was to find a venue that allowed us to use our own choice of caterer and hence we discovered the beautiful but rather remote and inaccessible (in more ways than one) Polhawn Fort in Cornwall.

The Pieminister team were incredibly professional, efficient and friendly from day one. From Faye, who helped with the booking process, to Katie who thought of everything in the (at times difficult) planning process and to Ian and the Pieminister team who worked incredibly hard to ensure that our wedding day went smoothly and was everything that we dreamed of, even though the weather tried to scupper us with gale force winds in the middle of August! The team thought of everything during the planning process and worked tirelessly behind the scenes on the day even adding in a couple of surprises for us, which we had not expected. Pies are such an unusual and perfect way of showing our love to our friends and family, like a hug on a plate. The Pieminister team has been brilliant from the outset; of note both Katie and Ian have been absolute stars, invaluable help before and during the wedding and constant sources of advice and information. The team has combined professionalism with a great friendliness, which we have really appreciated whilst organizing the biggest party of our lives. The canapés and pies were perfect, the flexible range of food options meant we could cater for all tastes and there were a lot of empty plates and happy faces by the end of the evening. As the bride, I really appreciated the care the waiting staff took to make sure my glass was always filled, and I managed to taste the canapés whilst I was dashing about talking to all the guests!

From the outset, we knew we had chosen a great company! These excellent tasting pies gave our wedding the fun, relaxed feeling we wanted. Who doesn’t love a good pie?! The company itself were friendly and very professional. Along the way, they kept us informed and were extremely organized. They were also particularly great catering for a range of food allergies and requirements and were fantastic with last minute guest changes. Not only that, they were warm and friendly and wished us well on our wedding day. The day itself run very smoothly. We had no worries at all. A great company and they really made our wedding day memorable!

Food was a really important part of our day and we had been aware of Pieminister from festivals and the restaurants. As a vegetarian, it was also important to me to have a top-quality veggie meal without compromising the meat eaters. From the moment, we booked Pieminister you exceeded all of our expectations. You have been so helpful throughout and went above and beyond to make our day even more special. Most of all the pies were absolutely delicious with many of our guests angling for a second.

From the moment we first contacted Pie Minister, we knew they were the team for us. The wedding planning with Faye and Katie went so smoothly, covering every detail to put us at ease.

On the day itself, Tiegan and her team were on site nice and early to get set up and run through the day. We had a few queries on logistics and Tiegan put us at ease straight away, offering to take care of everything. The staff were superb, from setting up the tables, delivering drinks and canapes after the ceremony, serving the wedding breakfast and clearing up afterwards. And the pies (not to forget the mash, mushy peas and gravy) To die for!! Things really couldn’t have gone any better and with them managing things so well, we were able to relax and enjoy the afternoon.

We opted for the cheese wedding cake from Pie Minister and I’m delighted we did. From the feedback we got from guests, that went down rather well too!
