Situated on the highest point of Richmond Park, London, is the beautiful grade II listed Pembroke Lodge. One of the city’s most popular wedding venues, this site has 11 acres of landscaped grounds, stunning views, and over 50 years of experience in hosting wonderful weddings.
Facilities and Capacity
Pembroke Lodge makes the rather impressive claim of being the only wedding venue situated within a London Royal Park. Richmond Park is the largest Royal Park and the tranquil space is home to around 650 deer; as you wander the park you’ll feel a million miles from the bustling and vibrant city nearby. The Lodge itself boasts an impressive frontage, sure to impress guests as soon as they arrive, as well as a light and airy interior. Licensed for civil ceremonies, you can say your vows in The Belvedere, a light-filled and neutral space that lends itself perfectly to any colour scheme or style. The space can accommodate up to 140 guests for your ceremony. The Russell Suite is also licensed for civil ceremonies and is the ideal choice for smaller weddings of up to 70 guests. The room features large period style windows, classic portraits and a stunning marble fireplace. You also have the option to marry outside on the Belvedere Terrace. Looking out onto acres of spectacular grounds, this is a truly romantic spot to say ‘I do’. The terrace is also the ideal place to pop a cork and begin celebrating your marriage, with an elegant drinks reception. As guests mingle and enjoy the views you can slip away to capture some photographs within the park. Your photographs are your lasting memory of the wedding and therefore form an important part of your day. The view from King Henry’s mound within the gardens, is the only view in London that is protected by an Act of Parliament, what better backdrop for your pictures?

From a grand, large scale affair to an intimate ceremony followed by drinks, the team are happy to accommodate your wishes.
We had our wedding at Pembroke Lodge on 12 May 2023 and it was incredible. The views are gorgeous and the photo opportunities are endless with beautiful floral and green surroundings. The team were super responsive throughout the process which is really reassuring and helpful when planning a wedding, and Nelson who ran the day was just fantastic. Every single detail was thought of and they run a really slick operation. This is essential as it meant I had a lot less to think about! They put me and my partner at ease throughout. Absolutely Wonderful
Thank you, thank you, thank you to the entire team at Pembroke Lodge for working so hard to deliver us such a beautiful wedding on June 3rd.
We had the most wonderful day, and had so many compliments from our guests - from the attentiveness of your staff, the tastiness and portion size of the food, and the quality of the wine. The view and the weather got a lot of compliments too! You made it so smooth, fun and went above and beyond for us, thank you.
We would recommend Pembroke Lodge to anyone, we feel so very, very lucky to have had our wedding with you - thank you so much.

Wonderful day with great staff!
We cannot thank Nelson and the Pembroke team enough! From the start, they were fantastic at answering all of our questions and putting our minds at ease. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere in the park was incredible. We wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else!

We had a wonderful wedding because of a fabulous team!
We had an intimate wedding of 24 people at the Pembroke lodge. From the initial meeting until the end, the entire team made us always feel welcome. They were supportive with the planning even though there were many last minute decisions from our end. They also provide all the information you need (which you may not think of until later on) to make the wedding smooth-sailing for everyone involved. Location was picturesque & the food exceptionally tasty. All our guests had a great time & everyone was commenting how lovely & organised the wedding was. We know we couldn’t have pulled it off without the assistance of Nelson & his team. If we had a chance to do it all over again, we would definitely do it in Pembroke Lodge again!

Simply the best!!
Pembroke Lodge was the second wedding venue we looked at...within two minutes of walking down the drive back to the carpark, both my (now!) husband and I looked at each other and knew we didn't want to look anywhere else - we walked straight back to the team to discuss dates. From our numerous lockdown walks in Richmond Park we knew Pembroke Lodge would would be high on our list, but from the initial tour of the suites we were immediately sold. Nelson settled all of our "what ifs" and doubts... and the "Plan B" he proposed for different weather scenarios convinced us this venue knew how to host!! Communication was always quick, and helpful no matter how big or small the question. Our wedding day was seamless and I cannot thank Nelson and his team enough for all their effort and organisation. Nelson had his eyes everywhere making sure everything ran as expected and it took so much stress off of us knowing that we were in such capable hands... he even managed to help with the bustle on my dress when the bridesmaids were struggling! We had the best, most magical day which exceeded all our expectations!! All of our guests have commented on the venue and the food was exceptional. Thank you Pembroke for helping create so many happy memories for us, even if it did rai, we loved every second of it!! Every wedding venue needs a Nelson!!!!!

Perfect wedding with the most wonderful people
I cannot write enough praise words for how absolutely fantastic and wonderful our special day was. The team at Pembroke worked magic. We unexpectedly had to change the day of our wedding and they've been nothing but supportive and accommodating. Nelson is a treasure - so calm and friendly, my mom keeps mentioning him every time we discuss the wedding. If you're considering of hiring Pembroke Lodge - DO IT. You won't be sorry and you'll have the best day. Ah, and the food! I have to mention the food, which was absolutely top. Never did I imagine I'd feel so full and happy as a bride at my own wedding.

What an incredible experience!
After two Covid cancellations we decided to completely re-do our wedding plans and boked the Russell Suite at Pembroke Lodge for our relatively small Wedding on 18 September 2022.
I cannot put into words how impressed I am with the service we've received. From the initial viewing, to booking, tasting and what must have been the answering of a million questions from me, Pembroke Lodge have impressed at every turn.
Our day flew by and I can honestly say it went smoothly from beginning to end, and at no point did I feel like I needed to check something. Our day coordinator just worked together with the Best Man to ensure everyone knew what they were doing, where they had to be and when. My now husband and I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Not to mention the incredible location. I mean who doesn't want to get married in Richmond Park?

We had the perfect wedding!
We booked the Belvedere suite for our wedding earlier this week. Since the beginning the Pembroke banqueting team have been very helpful. They've made sure that we felt comfortable, and they responded to all of our emails and address all of our questions with reassurance. They were also fantastically well organised on the day. The MC, Nelson, took complete ownership and had already built a very good understanding of our needs and preferences, as well as of the schedule of the day. We had a number of guests who had specific dietary requirements and they accommodated them perfectly. The quality of the food was also top notch!!
We are truly grateful to the Pembroke team for allowing us to have such a beautiful wedding. We could wholeheartedly enjoy the day without ever needing to worry about if things are going to plan.
For anyone thinking of having their wedding here, no need to think twice! The location is great, the views from the terrace are truly stunning, and the venue is surrounded by all these beautiful flowers. There's really not many other venues like it!

A Fantastic Day
Pembroke was the first venue we visited, and ended up being the only venue appointment we kept!! We were absolutely sold, and it was extra special since we got engaged in Richmond Park as well.
We chose the Belvedere Room for the amount of guests we wanted to invite, and it honestly takes so so little to dress the room up. We chose some cherry blossom trees as our arch (rented from a vendor recommended by the venue), rented some prettier chairs, and ta dah! A beautiful room, easy as.
Once planning the nitty gritty of the day started, our coordinator, Nelson, was On It. He helped soothe any worries, and was ready to talk through any questions we had, as well as make his own recommendations based on his own experience.
There was some question when COVID restrictions were lifting/lowering/lifting, but I don't think any other venue would have acted any differently.

Fantastic day and so supportive
We loved our wedding at Pembroke Lodge. We had to hugely adapt the day due to the pandemic but it was still perfect.
The staff are so friendly, the food was delicious (plus there is so much choice) and the Belvedere room is a perfect setting with the incredible views over the park looked beautiful.
We really appreciated all the support in planning, and replanning, and the flexibility they offered us so that we could have our small wedding of 15. We've been offered a second date for a larger party, we’re so excited to be going back next summer for our bigger party to continue the celebrations!
We couldn't recommend Pembroke Lodge more as the dream wedding venue.

Smashing team
I never dreamt I’d be able to get married in beautiful Richmond Park. At the very least, I never guessed it would be anywhere near my price range. But, take a look and ask about their winter package. I don’t underestimate our luck last year. We got married on 4th January... the more unusual date gave us a lot more in our package and the team, especially Sonia, were brilliant throughout. I have the most treasured memories of our wedding day and at the heart of it was this fantastic and beautiful venue.

Had a great experience working with Pembroke Lodge. Despite only giving 6 months notice to plan our wedding everyone was very professional and organised. We felt we had full access to the Wedding Team and they made some wonderful suggestions for our day.
I would definitely recommend them!
We had also suffered a personal tragedy in the run up to our wedding and the team were so supportive and pulled off the most magical day. My husband and I are eternally grateful.
On the day the staff were professional and prompt and the food delicious.
Did an excellent job in bringing our vision to life. And the grounds/views are great especially in the Spring time.

Our wedding was beautiful!
We got married at Pembroke Lodge April 2023. There’s no doubt that this is such a beautiful venue no matter the weather. Everyone loved the food; lots of guests complimented this. The drinks prices at the bar were reasonable which was a great surprise! For us, having the bar so close to the dance floor worked perfectly as it meant guests were all in one place and more people were dancing early on.
Some of the staff on the day were young and inexperienced which created confusion at points (repeatedly getting drinks orders wrong, poor communication etc). Our wedding planner wasn’t very flexible but we made everything work on the day. Having a rehearsal would have ironed out little details however this isn’t possible because there are so many weddings at the venue (often two per day).
We loved our day and love the venue!

Fabulous Wedding
Venue helped and answers all questions promptly. The wedding Day had a couple of little hic ups but the bride and groom were non the wiser and the venue sorted it themselves. Would definitely recommend the venue. It’s beautiful and was perfect for our day. Thank you.
