Located in Wakefield West Yorkshire, Sass and Bride is an accomplished wedding beauty company led by excellent makeup artist Sarah Hammond. This seasoned beautician has been involved in the world of wedding makeup for many years, starting her career in 2002 with Clinique then MAC from 2004-2020. She began working as a freelance makeup artist in 2011 and has been making soon-to-be newlyweds look and feel beautiful ever since.

Services Offered

Sass and Bride is happy to work with clients throughout the UK and even abroad. Sarah specialises in a wide range of makeup styles, from natural to soft glam. While she doesn't offer hair services, she often works with a talented bridal hair stylist who can give you your ideal wedding hairdo. Terrific Experience

I booked Sarah to do my wedding make up and from my trial to on the day she was professional, friendly, approachable and receptive to what look I fancied for my wedding day. Her experience in the industry is apparent but she also made the experience fun 😀 What more can I say Sarah is fabulous!

Sarah made me feel like a real life princess

Sarah is an amazing make up artist and does magic with those make up brushes! She made me feel like a princess on my wedding day and I can’t recommend her enough. As well as this she is also a lovely person and makes you feel at ease. 100% recommended. I will be suing her again :)

Fabulous!!

Sarah was fantastic company for me and bridesmaids on my big day . She was extremely patient with a very calming influence which was well required. A very personable approach and no issues in assisting with some lovely photos. Would highly recommend!! Thank you Sarah!! Xx

Amazing wedding day makeup!

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect makeover. Sarah knew exactly what I wanted and gave me the look I needed for the most important day of my life. All of my guests commented on the look and I felt so special. I would highly recommend using sass and bride for your makeover . A friendly professional experience and all at home. Really really loved the look and will be using again for a special occasion.

Sarah is the best MUA! She has done my make up for various events for years and always does it perfectly, offering advice on foundation/ colours and skincare. She recently did make up for my wedding, 6 of us and it was perfect, all in good time and she is a lovely lady too! Always good fun and very professional. Thank you so much Sarah, you are amazing! Xx

Best decision ever to work with Sass Bridal

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sarah (Sass Bridal) for my wedding day and I was so pleased with the results! She is so incredibly talented and was able to whip up the exact look I wanted! Not only that - when I changed my mind (as all brides do) - she executed the next look to perfection as well! My makeup was absolutely flawless and was so effortlessly done!

Her skills aside, Sarah is such a joy to work up! Her presence instantly lit up the room and her personality just calmed the nerves and turned the morning into a fun party it was meant to be! I am so glad I chanced upon Sarah and would recommend her to anyone looking to do their make up for a special day!
