I shoot FUN Weddings. Weddings are about Celebration so that's my style. Fun, Vibrant, and Modern.
Feel overwhelmed? Most couples are inundated with offers and messages. There's so much to decide and it's genuinly hard to make good choices. If you wish, I can help. I have 16 year's experience as a Wedding Photographer and I'm very happy to answer your questions and offer any guidence I can about photography or other aspects of your wedding.
My name's Ben
I started shooting weddings in my teens and have been shooting for 16 years. I shoot in a documentary style; that means I much prefer to shoot things as they happen, catching real moments. You get WAYBETTER photos this way. Not 'awkward family photos' but the genuine belly laughs and real reactions. This is Wedding Photojournalism, it’s the way forward.
Services Offered
I cover everywhere, that’s the whole of the UK the whole of Europe, and further than that too. Travel is included in the price anywhere within 100 miles of my home. which is bang in the middle of the midlands.

Other (You can have a short wedding film shot on super 8 cine film. This is unique as far as i'm aware. You get a very cool genuinely retro video shot on film. It's then edited to music)
What does the wedding package include?
Full day's shoot from Bridal prep through 'til the first dance at least. At least 200 fully edited photos on USB. Full printing rights attributed to you. An online album for family and friends to view
How far in advance should I contact you?
The sooner the better. I have couples booking sometimes three years in advance however the average booking time is 12 to 18 months before the wedding
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Are you able to travel?
Yes, the whole of the UK and Europe as I do destination weddings. Free travel anywhere withing 100 miles of Leicester
What is the charge for traveling?
Within a 100 miles of Leicester is free including the Midlands, East Coast, parts of Wales, Bristol, etc. Further than that and destination weddings, it's best to get a quote

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I'm adaptable but my preference is to catch moments as they happen without anyone orchestrating them. Natural, reportage, photojournalism, these are the best styles for getting great photos
What kind of equipment do you use?
Professional grade cameras that write to two cards simultaneously. Full frame. Usually prime lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, after the wedding I start editing and put up an online album for you and your family and friends to view
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
2 months
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone

How do you charge extra time?
I often don't as usually it's a full day's shoot and so included. Otherwise it's price on request. But you wouldn't be hit with an unexpected bill after your wedding
What are the forms of payment?
Bank transfer, PayPal, credit or debit card, cash are all fine although there is a small surcharge for credit cards. Standing orders are popular as many couples pay monthly
How do you work?
I say reaction photography because I don’t set staged moments, I capture them as they happen instead. I love shooting this way, the reactions are real and the moments timeless

All of our guests complimented how easy going and free flowing he was, every guest sang his praises- even those camera shy few;)- and we can’t recommend him enough to anyone seeking a wedding photographer. All of the images we received are perfect, natural and you can see everyone enjoying each and every moment, all 101% worth the wait. James and I got the few ‘staged’ photos that we requested as well as the rest of the shenanigans at the reception. We will continue to treasure the experience for a very long time. We got married on 1st May 23'; Ben was the first photographer we spoke to and we looked no further. Ben arrived early and just slotted straight in to our family dynamic, he was great with the children and parents alike, offering support and guidance throughout the preparations. I personally felt very looked after by Ben, he made sure I was where I needed to be and reminded me repeatedly that it's our day and to do things our way. Ben's style of photography suited us perfectly, capturing those magical moments as they unfolded. Everyone felt at ease and our guests were convinced that Ben was actually a friend of ours. An amazingly professional photographer, offering a memorable experience and fantastic value for money. He is our stand out contractor from our big day.

Amazing doesn’t cut it!
What can I say about Ben. From the very first meeting I knew he was the one I’d trust to shoot our big day. As someone who doesn’t particularly like being in photos, I just knew he’d make me feel at ease, and he didn’t disappoint. From the moment he turned up on our wedding day, he was like a ninja, snapping shots without us even realising. Not only did ben blend in with our family and friends, he actually became such a big part of our special day. All of our guests, caterers and even the staff at our wedding venue complimented how amazing they thought he was. If you want a photographer you can trust, someone who communicates extremely well and someone who is incredibly amazing at their job, ben is the photographer for you! Amazing Photographer! Natural and at ease! Could not recommend highly enough.
We absolutely loved having Ben as our photographer. His approach is very natural and candid which is what we wanted and the results are stunning! He blended in seamlessly and captured remarkable moments. The quality of his work speaks for itself and we really got on well, as did our guests. Just wow…. Incredible person and photographer
Wow, what can I say. Ben was absolutely amazing, we felt like we’d known him our whole lives and he made our day so special, not only by capturing the best photos of our day, but keeping (me) the bride sane, enjoying all the little laughs with us and our friends. Entertaining our kids when they were running riot, having cuddles with our baby, not only an amazing photographer but a fabulous human being. And we can’t wait for more family shoots in the future :)

Our Indian Wedding
Ben was incredible! His relaxed, calm nature made everyone feel comfortable and at ease being photographed. There was a lot going on at our wedding and he captured every aspect with amazing detail. He has a real eye for capturing not only 'staged' shots but natural shots that captured the day perfectly. His communication and direction throughout the day was non-intrusive, warm and friendly. The photos we received were amazing quality with a mixture of colour and black and white images. All communication with Ben before the wedding and after the wedding was fantastic. I would highly recommend him - you won't be disappointed with your photos and his extensive experience with wedding photography.

From the first day that I contacted you, you were so easy to communicate with and answered my questions without hesitation or delay. Our wedding day- June 2021
We had Ben to photograph our wedding in June. We had the most amazing day and he captured all of our special moments together and with our loved ones perfectly. Ben is a really nice person and we loved having him around on our special day!
