Facilities and Capacity
Newly transformed into an elegant wedding venue, Stone Barn still retains its distinctive historical aesthetic that effortlessly blends into the surrounding landscape. Its generous interior is enhanced by flagstone floors, a huge open fireplace, and wooden beams. An undoubtedly idyllic setting, the barn can hold up to 120 guests for a ceremony and 250 guests for your evening reception, complete with a dance floor. Alternatively, the pristine grounds offer an enchanting wooden shelter for an outdoor summer ceremony, where you can 'I do' against a backdrop of rolling hills. The adjoining Dutch barns feature elegantly arched ceilings, beautiful corrugated iron roofs, and the most breathtaking views for wedding photography. Within this split-level space, guests can mingle with post-ceremony drinks at the gallery bar before tucking into the wedding feast below. Comfortably holding up to 194 seated guests, the Dutch barn also features a large, open terrace with roaring fire pits to keep loved ones warm.

We had our wedding at Stone Barn last week and it was incredible in every way. Our guests are STILL contacting us to say how amazing the food was (and how generous the portions were). The team were helpful all the way through the process and executed the day perfectly, and the setting has given us some stunning wedding photographs. Absolutely no complaints – I can't express how glad we are that we chose this venue.

What a venue!!
We got married at Stone Barn in July 2023…
What a magical venue, from the look around tour back in 2021 to the wedding day- a seamless and stress free process!
The venue is just incredible, in the middle of amazing countryside- the two different barns are stunning, and flow together so well…the fairy lights and lanterns, candles, give it such a magical feeling.
The new addition of the natural wood tables give it such a lovely rustic vibe and the new disco balls for the evening are a must- they make the barn look amazing!
We opted for the teepees for our 4 young family members, they loved the space and it kept them entertained with also a place to chill.
We had rain and sun on our day, meaning our drinks reception was half in/outside- the space is perfect for all weather. When it rained it made the inside look even more magical and dramatic with the twinkly fairy lights.
Jasmine was our coordinator and she was just amazing, the day ran so smoothly, stone barn are pros at what they do!
The food- wow, I can’t stop thinking about those bbq sirloin bricks! Everyone has commented on how amazing all the food was, the best wedding food they have had!
Wish we could do it all again!

Magical Wedding Venue
We got married a couple of weeks ago at Stone Barn and had the most magical wedding experience. The venue is incredible - both the location and the building itself, which has been stunningly renovated with a lot of thought to how weddings and large parties function. Each space is beautiful, and you can move through them without feeling like you're stuck in one place for hours. The outside space with the lanterns and fire pits is also lovely.
The staff are extremely professional, charming and accommodating - everyone we spoke to from the moment of our virtual tour through the whole process really impressed us and was one of the reasons we decided to book here. On the day itself, everything happened seamlessly, and a few last-minute requests were easily accommodated. We really felt like we were in good hands and didn't need to worry about much!
The last reason, of course, is the food, which is outstanding. Everything is cooked on a wood fire. Most of our guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and the late night pizzas and s'more were a really fun and delicious addition. The drama of seeing it prepared on-site also added to the whole event!
We can't recommend Stone Barn and Cripps + Co enough - we wish we could do it all over again!

Best Venue Around!
Flawless experience from start to finish!
Stone Barn is the most incredible wedding venue, the setting, food and team all make it what it is and we really wouldn’t have changed a thing.
We’re so happy with how our day went, it felt relaxed and special in equal measure throughout and everyone who came along has commented on how much they enjoyed their meal and day.

Beyond our wildest dreams
Stone Barn blew our expectations for our wedding. Angie and the team are so responsive and on it, our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue and the food was delicious. The BEST venue for our wedding
Stone Barn was magical - all we could have wished of and more for our wedding day. The staff we so attentive and really made you feel at home, the food was incredible and we had so many comments on it, and the venue itself is just beautiful - both indoors and the surroundings, there's so many good photo ops! Couldn't recommend it enough!

Magical venue with incredible staff
The Stone Barn was everything we dreamed for and more - and what made everything even better was the staff who ensured our day was magical. Thank you so much to Katie especially for being amazing from consultation to the day itself, and also for being super nice, friendly, and fun throughout the whole organisation process. (Basically, we wish were were besties with you Katie).
Everything from the Barn aesthetics to the food to the outdoor decorations and fire, to the amazing cocktails. Everything was perfect and the day ran seamlessley. We would 1000% recommend this to anyone who is interested. Their sister Barn - Cripps is also beautiful, however you won't get Katie and the amazing team from The Stone Barn if you go for Cripps ;)
Honestly gutted we can't do it all over again. Had THE most amazing day and all our friends and family loved it too. We can't thank you enough.

Best day ever!
Honestly where do I start! This venue is absolutely to die for, it’s so dreamy and intimate and all of guests commented on how stunning it was. From the start of the process to the end all of the staff were incredible and always on hand with any questions you may have and the attention to detail is second to none. The food was divine and all of our guest said it’s the best food at ANY wedding they’ve been to before. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough and want to do it all over again. It’s so perfect so thank you Stone Barn you were amazing!!

Stone Barn is of the most beautiful, well-kept venues I've ever seen - the attention to detail and quality of everything is incredible. We fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the door. Not only this, but the whole process we went through as we booked and planned the wedding was seamless and enjoyable. I could not fault the execution of the day itself - Katie did a fabulous job at keeping everything on track, but we also felt like the whole day was so relaxed! It's definitely a pricier choice - but if you want a wedding where everything is taken care of for you, with exceptionally good food and drink, and a stunning venue both inside and outside - then go for Stone Barn. A number of our guests commented that it was the best food and venue they've ever been to. Cannot recommend it enough and I'd just love to do it all again!

The best day of our lives!!
Stone barn was one of the first venues we viewed and we knew straight away it was the one. It is so incredibly beautiful in both the day and night and fit so perfectly with our plans. We cannot thank the staff at Stone Barn enough, the day ran so smoothly. Katie was incredible running up to the wedding and also so calming and lovely on the day. So many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had attended and how beautiful the venue was. We honestly had the best day of our lives.

Fantastic wedding experience at Stone Barn - twice!
We really couldn't recommend Stone Barn highly enough, for their level of service (professional and friendly); the quality of their food; and the overall ambience of the venue.
Like so many couples, our wedding was re-scheduled (3 times) as it was originally booked for April 2020 with 86 people from various countries. After a great deal of stress, we were actually married on 6th December (with just 6 of us) and we finally had our celebration on 4th August with 50 people (Australian contingent couldn't join us, sadly).
Many thanks to the whole team at Stone Barn, but especially Rachel who was endlessly patient through the trials and tribulations of re-booking and who made sure that our (very small) ceremony in December was still extremely special and memorable.
Our celebration in August was wonderful, helped by glorious weather, as it was the first time many of our guests had socialised and it all felt very relaxed, safe and a good time was had by all.
With regards to the food, it is simply delicious (many of our guests commented on it) and we would definitely recommend going to a 'feast night' to test it yourself!
The venue itself is fabulous, it has a casual and relaxed ambience but is undoubtedly very special; the moment we saw it, we knew it was where we wanted to be married.
The communication with Stone Barn is very well run, through a central portal, which means that emails don't go astray.
Given the uncertainty and stresses of the past 18 months, we would like to say a personal thank-you to each and every member of the Stone Barn team for making both our days so fantastic.

Perfect Wedding Venue
As many weddings in 2021, our journey hasn’t been an easy one but we honestly could not have done it without the support from the team at Cripps. From booking our original wedding venue for October 2020, to moving to Shustoke to finally getting married at Stone Barn in July, everyone was so incredibly supportive and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had the prefect day. As we approached our wedding day, our suppliers (florist, videographer) ended up dropping out, Cripps once again stepped up and made sure that everything was as we wanted it to be. We must give a special mention to Clayton, Toby and Rachael from Stone Barn as they all went above an beyond to make sure timings were correct, we had petals to use for the confetti, elderly relatives were catered for, the list goes on. We could not recommend Stone Barn and Cripps and Co highly enough and it was honestly the best decision we made.

Perfect day, Perfect venue! Want to do it all again!!
Can’t praise the staff enough!! The organisation, the venue, food, bar and atmosphere was truly magical. We were blown away by the venue when we first viewed it but seeing it on our special day was even more spectacular. All of the guests commented on how amazing the venue was and that the standard/ portion sizes was fantastic!! The beef was a winner with everyone. Katie was amazing at keeping us calm and helping with any little detail. She made us feel relaxed and like we had known her for years, even standing out in the rain to meet us!
We would recommend this venue to absolutely everybody and want to do it all again!!!

A perfect venue.
Stone Barn was the perfect place for our wedding. The staff were beyond professional, helpful, efficient and importantly really personable and kind. They removed all the stress from the day and made each part seamless. A shout out to Katie who supported us on the day, and everyone commented how friendly and fantastic her and her team were.
The venue itself it absolutely stunning, and it all felt like a fairytale. Despite the rain, the barn and reception room were warm and cosy. The food was sensational, with generous portions and each part was delicious, and the bar made excellent cocktails.
If we were to do it all over again, we would 100% choose Stone Barn.

Gorgeous venue
Loved our winter wedding at Stone Barn. The decor was stunning and the food was amazing.
