To everyone at Tewin Bury Farm,

We just wanted to email to say a huge thank you. Our wedding yesterday was simply perfect and it was because of all the amazing staff at Tewin Bury. From Sophie who helped us plan the day, to Charlotte who helped keep everything running smoothly on the day, to the hotel staff for helping get lots of guests checked in, to the dinner service and bar staff who were so quick and organised to everyone other member of staff we saw around the grounds. Each and every member of the team at Tewin Bury were nothing short of amazing. We were constantly met with kindness and everyone was so attentive, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for the staff and everyone went above and beyond to look after us from taking care of my veil, to getting us checked in (because we forgot) to ensuring we even had some wedding cake kept for us because we didn’t get to eat it during the night. All of that really does show what an amazing wedding venue Tewin Bury really is.
We have had so many compliments about the high quality of food, service and the amazing grounds. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Yesterday was truly the most magical and best day of our lives and you have all played a huge part in that. We truly appreciate everything you have all done.

We were able to have the reception we wanted, tweaking packages and plans to make it work for us. The team were very helpful and positive, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Unprofessional and poor service provided. Rude staff, late on timings, let down.

Our day was everything we could ever have imagined it to be and more. We wanted a calm and intimate wedding and that’s exactly what we got. From start to finish we felt welcomed and at home, and all of the staff made everything feel effortless.

We are so pleased we chose to marry at Tewinbury. The venue was beautiful, we had so many compliments on the food, and the drinks were superb too. It genuinely was the happiest day of our lives. Wish we could do it all again.

Good afternoon,

We had a wedding yesterday for Marilyn and Reg and whilst your whole team were impeccable, there is one member of your team we really wish to say a heart felt thank you to: Fionn.

Fionn was there during the wedding and there the next day at breakfast too. They were approachable and just did a bit extra to make the day really special. Fionn made sure the bride and groom got their canapés and was happy to answer any questions. Fionn was quick to help at breakfast with moving our tea and coffee with a hungry baby and without being asked to and without question.

We just wanted to make sure Fionn’s professionalism and just all round brilliant service is highlighted and we hope that this is passed on too.

Hi Sophie,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your help planning our wedding, it turned out amazing and we wouldn't have changed a thing!

I wondered if you could please pass this note on to Janay, who looked after us on the day. She was absolutely amazing, she covered everything so well and she really put me and my bridal party at ease before the ceremony, she helped so much throughout the day and put in so much effort to make sure we had everything we needed. She really made it special for us and made sure we had no stress at all. It must have been hard work in the heat running around after us all day, so we are really grateful. Thank you to Matt too who was also so helpful!! I caught him the week before the wedding and he really helped then too. Every member of staff was so attentive and every guest noticed it and complimented the service.

We had our wedding at Tewin Burry Farm at the beginning of December and it's only now we are getting a chance to give some feedback. Firstly we wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Tewin Burry for making our stay and wedding so amazing. Here are a few bits of feedback:

Hotel
A group of us stayed the night before and evening of the wedding. The rooms where stunning, clean and roomy and the bridal suit was especially lovely. The hotel staff were very helpful in fufilling any maintenance and room service requests.

Cowshed
We dinned at the Cowshed the evening before our wedding. It was a large party of 15 and the staff kindly did a lovely table set up and decorated the table with Christmas crackers. We where also really impressed with the complimentary entrees which where really unique and delicious, especially the cheese profiteroles. The roast dinner was superb and everyone was really happy. Staff was super friendly and professional. Overall we had a really fun evening so thank you!

Wedding day
Charlotte and the rest of the team were really helpful, friendly and organised. The day ran so smoothly that it was a stress free day for James and I. The venue looked more beautiful than we could ever have imagined, there were lots of lovely finishing touches we didn't expect. The food was OUTSTANDING and all options (vegan, gluten free etc.) were delicious. Literally every guest raved about the food. The bar staff were fun and friendly and coped well with how busy it was. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us our dream wedding.

Beautiful venue in a lovely setting. Ideal for the amount of guests we had, the weather held our for us and allowed us to use the natural surroundings to say our vows outside.

Tewin Bury Farm is located very near Welwyn Garden City, and the only reason we decided to check it out was because it was so near our home, even though we pretty much already decided on another venue. We immediately fell in love with the place, and the Tythe barn in particular. The reasonable prices of the Snowdrop winter package convinced us it was the right choice for us and we booked our wedding day for March 2019.

Everything went perfectly smoothly from the day we first viewed the barn until the very last minutes of our wedding. The staff is incredibly helpful. All questions, fears and requests were swiftly dealt with all throughout the months of planning. We could see the venue as often as needed, and we even took the opportunity to wander in the beautiful countryside surrounding the farm.

The day itself went fantastically well, the barn looked incredible for our ceremony and then our dinner, and the weather even permitted an outdoor reception in the barn's private garden. The food was truly delicious, the canapes, the meal and the evening buffet were great. They made sure every detail was perfect, and I'm still not over the lovely, rustic and delicious looking spread the team set up for the evening buffet. The hotel was perfect for our guests and us, and everyone was impressed with the beautiful and cosy rooms.

Massive thanks to the entire team, in particular Steph for her help planning our big day, and Haylee and Andre for their efficiency and support on the day.
If you decide to go for Tewin Bury Farm, know you will be well taken care of from day 1, and you will not regret your decision!

We just want to say big thank you to Katie, Charlotte and the rest of the wedding team for helping us host a lovely wedding bbq to our guests. We had an amazing time and the planning was made so easy thanks to you.

I emailed the venue for a quote after another venue failed to deliver what I asked for and received a response within an hour if not even earlier than that. From the very first email I was provided with details of the venue still available (Millstream Suite and Gardens) menu, options available and a quote. I was very impressed and was looking to book it straight away so arranged to visit the venue that same weekend to make sure its what we wanted. Of course, we were not dissapointed - the venue and gardens were absolutely stunning.

Until the actual date of the wedding bbq we were updated at all times via email and we had a lovely consultation with all details being finalised then.

On the day, I didnt like how it was set up at first and I was truly impressed by Charlotte because she really took control and made the changes I asked for. Thank you for that.

The bbq served was aboslutely amazing too - it was served outside as the sun was shining that day. I really enjoyed it and all the guests complimented the food.

Overall, I am grateful to have chosen this venue and for all the help making our party truly special and fun.

We've just got back from our honeymoon and wanted to drop you a note to say a huge thank you for all of your help & guidance in the run up to our big day. The day itself was perfect and exactly how we envisaged it. Thank you for your patience answering all our questions in the run up (we know there were a lot!) and for making sure all the little details we'd planned were in place.

We also wanted to send our thanks to Pawel who was fantastic on the day, nothing seemed too much trouble and in fact he seemed to be 10 steps ahead of us! He made us both feel really relaxed and reassured. Please can you pass on our thanks and please send a copy of this email to your line managers as we don't want your hard work to go unrecognised!

We've seen a couple of photos from the day (including some drone footage!) and the venue looked spectacular. We can't wait to get the full set of photos back from our photographer so we can relive our special day.

We stumbled across Tewin Bury Farm when searching for wedding venues last winter. We looked at a few and were feeling really disheartened so found it online as a curve ball. The day we visited we knew immediately we wanted to get married there due to the beautiful grounds and stunning buildings. It only got better from there. No question, request or change in plan was a problem for them. The wedding team are efficient, kind and on the ball. Charlotte and Katie especially dealt with every request like we were the only people ever to get married at Tewin. We decided to hire Kingsbridge Lodge as exclusive hire and it was the best decision. It made us feel special and the accommodation in the house is next to none. We believe they should have a 5 star rating, as did all of our guests!

Russel is the most amazing man I have ever had the pleasure of meeting; apart from my husband of course! He looked after us the night before and the day of the wedding and without him I genuinely don’t think we would of had the day we did! He helped us set up the night before, got us drinks, scissors and anything else we asked for. The day of the wedding he made sure that we felt like the only people in the world, he held our hands, looked after us, made sure every request was met no matter how big or small and just made us feel loved!

Every member of staff and Tewin was polite, attentive and professional and we would advise anyone to get married here. We would love it do it all again thanks to the incredible team at Tewin!
