We hired Tom to photograph our wedding at Grittleton House on 22/12/2022. Tom provided us with a virtual Zoom consultation before the big day which allowed us to 'meet' with Tom and discuss any ideas that we may have had before the wedding. Tom also allowed us to share photograph ideas that we had seen online that we liked as suggestions for possible photos. Tom then met with us at the venue a couple of weeks before the wedding to walk around the venue with us which enabled us and Tom to think of ideas for photographs that may be possible on the actual day. Tom was always on hand via email whenever we needed him before the wedding.
On the wedding day, Tom was absolutely fantastic! He made us and all our guests feel at ease and you genuinely did not notice that he was there. Tom very kindly helped the groom and groomsmen with their buttonholes, so he certainly went above and beyond. There were so many compliments from the guests as to how friendly Tom was throughout the whole day.
Tom had so many excellent suggestions for photo ideas and remembered all of the specific family and friends photos that we had requested before the wedding.
After the wedding we were absolutely over the moon with the wonderful selection of photos that Tom had captured and they really told the story of the day. Tom captured some really special moments that we, as the bride and groom, may not have seen on the day so it was heartwarming to see these afterwards.
The quality of the photos and the amount that Tom took was mind blowing!
We also received a wonderful package a few months after the wedding with a small selection of printed photographs which were beautifully presented with a wax seal and lavender. This was such a special touch.
The whole process from start to finish was made incredibly easy, especially as Tom provides you with your own account on his website which allows you to view your invoices and see any outstanding balances. Tom also provides you with an online gallery of the final photographs. This is just so easy to use.
We cannot have asked for a better photographer and we would highly recommend Tom to anyone considering him for photographing their wedding.

My husband and I are both very laidback, and very much the type of couple to wing almost every aspect of their life; this also includes our wedding photos! There's also not much that we take seriously, so we're not really the type for overly posed shots. Tom completely understood all this and was very aware of the vibe and style were going for and comfortable with. My husband and I had a lot of fun whilst we were being photographed by Tom, which is a big thing for us considering neither of us are all that comfortable with being front and centre in front of a camera.
We were incredibly lucky on our wedding day, being graced with a substantial snowfall. We made sure to make the most of this, and Tom has captured photos more stunning than I could have ever hoped for. The two of us are so grateful for all the hard work Tom has put in to all these pictures; they are absolutely perfect and I would recommend Tom to anyone who is looking for a fun, relaxed, versatile, and professional photographer!

My husband and I were looking for a documentary style photographer for our wedding. We wanted to capture the guests, our families and ourselves enjoying our day without too much interruption for photos. Tom made everyone feel so comfortable and at home in front of the camera, he got the day spot on and the photos are beautiful to prove it. We were so thrilled with our wedding photos by Tom, we communicated with him via telephone and email as we had a long distance wedding and was unable to meet him in person. This didn't matter he was charming and unobtrusive and we and our guests felt comfortable with him.

It was an absolute joy to have Tom shoot our wedding. Having seen some of his previous work we knew he would bring a stylish and professional approach to our special day, capturing those moments that flew by all too fast. Tom was an absolute joy to have photograph our wedding. I've been part of many wedding parties, and always found the photographers quite intrusive and, if I'm honest, quite annoying. With Tom, however, this was not the case in any way! He arrived the morning of the wedding, and honestly felt like part of my bridal party, I think we made him blush a few times as we genuinely forgot he was there taking photos! I had said that I wanted natural, genuine photos, and to only do staged photos if people asked for them. What I received was beyond what I expected, Tom caught every moment of the wedding spectacularly, to little moments between my husband and I, that I thought no one else would have noticed (a giggle and sigh of relief that we hadn't messed up our vows) to heart-warming moments between family and friends. Everything was captured perfectly and, most importantly for me, non-intrusively! The number of pictures we received was amazing and are always commented on for their uniqueness. Having a genuinely lovely photographer like Tom, who understands what you want from your wedding photos, meant there was no need to stress at all over the day. The next-day talks were all centered around how lovely the photographer was and how easy he was to talk to (not barking orders like previous photographers we, as a family, have encountered in weddings over the years). I'd whole-heatedly recommend Tom for your wedding party, or any special event, as he felt like part of our celebration.

When we saw Tom’s work we knew we must book him for our special day! Tom carefully listened to our ideas whilst also bringing his own knowledge and expertise to capture the best shots on the day. Tom was discreet at all times, blending in the background to skilfully capture those natural moments of our guests. Tom studied the venue and brought welcome ideas about locations for us to shoot as a newly wed couple. Tom worked incredibly well with our videographers, everything just flowed. Tom has in fact become our go-to photographer for all sorts! He has shot for my business website, photographed our dog and he is soon to photograph our daughter.

Let me just say, Tom was absolutely amazing to work with. We had to plan remotely due to covid and us living in Scotland, but we knew during our initial consultation with him that he was our kind of person, and would fit in fantastically with what we had planned for our wedding day. In the lead up to our day, we had a couple of zoom calls to ask little random questions, as Tom's been to far more weddings than us! And no question was too silly or too small to be answered, Tom put us both totally at ease.
On the day of our wedding, Tom was punctual, friendly, and a very natural fit into our calm, relaxed day. He captured all these tiny, precious moments that we missed, and was amazing with our young flower girls. We have heard nothing but praise from our guests about how spectacular our photos are, and wonderful and courteous he was on the day.
He sent us previews from our day the morning after our wedding, so we were sitting having our first brunch as a married couple (!) looking through these beautiful photos from the day before. Tom then sent us ~500 photos a month later on his website, along with 20 prints and a USB with all the photos. We were able to send them to family and friends instantly, and download any/all that we wanted.
We have been blown away with the photography Tom has provided, he was so professional, kind, funny, relaxed, and just a pleasure to have at our wedding.

Tom was the photographer for our wedding last weekend and we simply cannot rate him highly enough! He is such a gentleman, completely unobtrusive and totally flexible. It felt more like he was one of our guests, blending in perfectly and popping up at all the right moments. The sneak peak photos he’s sent us already are perfect, and the whole day was made much more stress-free thanks to his relaxed approach and his focus on the bride and groom enjoying themselves! I now can’t imagine anyone else taking our wedding photos. Totally recommend.
