My wedding day was amazing, I couldn’t fault it at all and that’s because of the staff at Thorpe Garden. They really looked after us throughout our wedding planning, any questions or concerns we had they were more than happy to help us. Our day ran so smooth because of how they looked after us and made sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. Cara did a fantastic job being the venue coordinator for our special day-big shoutout to you and Lee for giving us a stress free day. I can’t recommend this venue enough, our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Oh also the food was amazing!!! I really could go on and on but thank you fantastic job you guys.

This venue gave us the best wedding we could ever ask for and more. The day ran very smoothly and the staff were incredible. The food was amazing! We had our ceremony and reception in the Yurt and the breakfast in the Pavilion. I would recommend this venue to anyone and I wish we could go back and do it again!

Thorpe were fantastic from the moment we first visited, through the planning process and beyond our wedding day. They went out of their way to create the day we dreamed of and more. Our questions and queries were answered straight away and any issues resolved.

Thorpe Gardens gave us the most beautiful wedding day! From the moment we first met with the team we knew it was the perfect place for us to get married. The venue is stunning and a walled garden and dreamy yurt full of fairy lights. The day went by so smoothly and the team thought of every detail. We did not have to worry about a thing! They thought of such thoughtful touches like encouraging us to have a private moment together after the ceremony which was one of my favourite moments of the day. Cara and Lee were our wedding coordinators and they could not have been more of professional and thoughtful. I would recommend this venue to everyone!

This wedding venue caters for all, the kids spent all day outside playing with lawn games, the beautiful grounds and outdoor seating were amazing for socialising and the yurt was more than big enough for drinking and dancing. The staff were friendly and so helpful, the feast was delicious and brownie was unreal.

There are too many good things to say about Thorpe Garden and its staff. They were incredibly accommodating to us, making our wedding as stress-free as possible, and they did all they could to give us a perfect day. We've both said it's shame we can't do it all over again!

We got married at Thorpe Garden last week and it was everything we had hoped for. Our original date was postponed but moving the wedding to our new date was made such an easy process by Tom. Communication from our first enquiry right up to the day was fantastic!

The venue and grounds are so beautiful and you’re spoilt for choice with the different options for where to have your ceremony / reception. From start to finish the day was so well organised and Cara, Charlie, Lee and the rest of the team couldn’t have done enough for us. We’d also like to praise the Chefs; the canapés and meal were faultless - so many of our guests were impressed by the food, we’ve had nothing but compliments. I’d absolutely recommend Thorpe Garden and a huge thanks to the whole team for making it our best day ever ✨

The team at Thorpe Garden could not have been more helpful from our first viewing to the big day, we were confident that we were in the safest hands.

We had a couple of unusual requests that they were incredibly helpful in accommodating and some extra hands were required in the morning to ensure the styling was perfect. My breath was taken away when I walked through those curtains and down the aisle - I was promised by Cara that it would be beautiful and it defied all of my expectations.

I honestly couldn't recommend Thorpe Garden and the team highly enough. Every single one of our guests said it was the most beautiful venue they'd seen, the best food they'd eaten and the most attentive staff.

We even had rave reviews from our vegan guests, who were impressed by the vegan meal options during the day and in the evening.

We just want to come back to do it all over again!

From the minute we arrived at Thorpe Garden we knew it would be a strong contender for our wedding venue. The walled gardens are stunning, especially in full bloom and also the grounds are so spacious for guests to spread out and socialise. Tom and his team were great from the start, responding quickly to messages and answering every question we had leading up to the day (there were many!). On the day the service from the whole team was exceptional, we couldn't have asked for more. The food was amazing too, I had high expectations and they were certainly met. I would recommend Thorpe Garden to anyone without hesitation. It was our dream venue!

As soon as we saw the venue we knew it was the one.. we fell in love with it. We met Tom there who was absolutely lovely and very enthusiastic. He was there from start to finish, so helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. The day was amazing, all the guests commented on how beautiful and unique the venue was. The food was fit for a king.. absolutely tasty and large portion sizes. The day could not have ran any smoother as the staff were so attentive! It was so perfect we want to do it all over again !!!

Thorpe Garden is an absolutely stunning venue, particularly in the spring and summer months when all the flowers are out. The grounds have beautiful established trees, where you can have an outdoor ceremony, then within the walls of the old kitchen garden are all the beautifully maintained lawns and flower beds as well as the impressive yurts where again you can have the ceremony, dinner, dancing or whatever you fancy. There is also a lovely pavillion with exposed beams, glass walls and slate floors for your ceremony, dinner or dancing also. We chose an outdoor ceremony and everything else in the yurts because they are just so impressive and particularly COVID friendly with their indoor outdoor feeling. Because the venue is one from a group called Cripps & Co they are really organised and know exactly what they're doing. This was evident from booking right through to collecting table decorations when it was all over. Unlike some venues, you pay for the venue and the staff separately making it slightly more than others we looked at but definitely worth it to minimise stress in planning and on the day. We booked them because we fell in love with the venue but you really can't fault the service you get with them. Super friendly and very professional. And the catering - oh my goodness, I've never had wedding food taste this good. So pleased and so many of our guests commented on how good it was. The only thing I will say is that they're pretty 'all inclusive' in the sense that you have to have their catering company (trust me this is a good thing) as well as their wine list (fair wines but you could probably have cheaper if you sourced this yourself). If you hire a band they must use their sound system (also a good thing - it has excellent sound quality). Overall, we couldn't have wished for anything more from our wedding day, largely in thanks to this beautiful venue and team.

Wow! We could not be more impressed or blown away by the Thorpe Garden venue in all honesty. Tom, Charly and the on site team genuinely helped to pull off a miracle and literally perfect version of our big day! We couldn't be happier to have the day that'll live long in the memory, given all the worries & challenges that came before it

The wedding food was high quality, tasty and the service was fantastic throughout and the whole day. Everything felt so smooth, allowing us to focus on enjoying and celebrating the day with our guests. On the day itself the venue was glowing with the driveways tidy, gardens flowered and yurt itself is one of a kind with its fairly lights & rustic feel to hold such an event.

Throughout these unprecedented times Tom guided us one of toughest pre wedding build ups keeping open and honest comms which resulted in both sides being as flexible as possible given all that was at stake. We're still getting multiple comments from our guests saying how unique, classy and well presented the whole day felt which is a reflection of the great job the whole team did

The only feedback we would give would to Cripps would be for any confirmed wedding bookings, should be entitled 2 free tickets to the feast night meal. Given the amount being spent we think this would be fair enough to include this as a treat for the bride and groom as most venues include this in the price.

We could not recommend this hidden gem of a wedding venue anymore and can't imagine there will be too many free slots if they keep delivering weddings like we got to enjoy

We can’t fault the wedding venue team - Charlie was so helpful leading up to the wedding and Cara was so incredibly attentive on the day. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this venue. It’s a gorgeous setting, the food is delicious and we just had the best day. We liked that there was flexibility in decorating how we wanted to, lawn games were allowed (not the case at all wedding venues) and really accommodating with layout options in the yurt and pavilion throughout the day. We were overwhelmed by the professionalism of the staff - thank you so much for everything you did for us

Thorpe Garden is an amazing venue, each part links seamlessly to provide different backdrops, spaces and atmosphere to make a perfect wedding day. We were lucky enough to have perfect weather for a winter wedding, frosty grass and golden skies complimented the gardens and the venue looked like a winter wonderland. The food was amazing, staff provided excellent service throughout the evening and Charlie was amazing at helping organise our wedding before the day.

I’m not really sure where to start, we were blown away with the experience we had with Thorpe Garden.
The venue is in the most beautiful garden, we were very blessed with the weather on our late October wedding day which highlighted how immaculate the garden was. The autumn trees mixed with the beautiful autumn flowers, that had been so carefully curated by the venue made for the most amazing photographs. All of our guest have commented many times about how stunning the venue and setting was. The pavilions, yurt and the layout is just so conducive to the most relaxed, joyful wedding day full of guests mingling and commenting on how unusual and unique the venue is.
The staff were just fantastic: for the managers, nothing was too much trouble, they were so kind and caring and we left that night feeling very well taken care of.
If you want to have children at your wedding then this is the place to have them, the venue and staff were so welcoming to the children, they adored playing in the garden and the venue allowed/facilitated us to set up a children’s area in the pavilion while we had our meal in the yurt.
All communication in the lead up to the wedding was diligent and swift and their attention to detail was second to non.
We honestly cannot rate Thorpe Garden enough, in regard to value for money, we would pay every penny again to do the day all over.
